How to sell

If you have Simmental semen available for sale, Simmental Sires can manage the entire process on your behalf. We will promote your bull effectively, take care of storage, delivery and invoicing, and credit payments for sales to you on a monthly basis.

One of the key advantages of Simmental Sires is that we take payment upfront from buyers, so there’s no need for you to chase monies, and your income from sales is secure. In return for these services, we charge a commission, and along with a competitive storage fee.

Once confirming a semen entry, we’ll create a dedicated bull listing page featuring a photo, promotional marketing text, links to pedigree and performance information, and where available, progeny or further bull images.

Please note that to be eligible all semen must be stored at a licensed facility such as Cogent, Genus or UK Sires. Semen stored in on-farm flasks cannot be accepted. Simmental Sires is delighted to be working with UK Sires who are acting as the storage and delivery hub.
